The title of this post is a pun on a new documentary that Mountain Lake PBS is presenting to PBS and American Public Television. Small Town, Big Dreams: The Lake Placid Olympic Story is a great program that arrives just in time for the Winter Games in Vancouver, BC. It covers both the 1932 and 1980 Olympic games and the famous “Miracle on Ice” when the US Hockey team beat the USSR in a nail-biting finale to the Games. We’re thrilled to be working with Scott Carroll and Marc Nathanson to present the program to the national system of PBS stations.
