I went to a fine workshop at the PBS annual meeting where a hard-working group presented a lot of practical information and findings on how to help our viewers find our shows, be less frustrated and feel more connected to our station. Things like keeping our program titles succinct and specific, creating short episode descriptions and the like to make the on-screen channel guide a useful tool.

Then I came home and watched this:

PBS might as well save the money… consumer technology is going to sweep right by us.
